Here is the promised photo of the Brea in progress. Not bad for 2 days worth of work.

  1. Looking good. This pattern seems very complicated! Will you line the bag? When I made my booga bag, I made a separate lining with pockets for my cellphone and ipod and such, it kept things from poking through the felted knitting. I wish I had lined my felted french market bag as well.

  2. This pattern is actually very easy once you read it through. It’s done completely on straight needles (yay!) and is all one piece (per side). Before I read the pattern I thought each side was made of 4 triangle pieces grafted together but it’s not. As for a lining, I really would like to add one but I am absolutely not a sewer, nor do I own a sewing machine. I thought that if I do line it I would love to add a pocket and maybe a zipper but it would all have to be hand sewn. I’m still deciding. If you want to try this pattern and have any questions, please feel free to ask me! I’d be happy to help!
